Introduction to MaineStreet

MaineStreet is the technology hub for the University of Maine. MaineStreet allows you to access and manage your academic records and financial information, all in one site. Through MaineStreet, you can add and drop courses, view account balances, check your course schedule, make a payment, peruse your student records and much more.

This video will give a brief introduction on how to log in and the main components of your Student Center.

Welcome!

Greetings from the University of Maine’s College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Advising Center! We hope you enjoyed your summer! We are excited to be getting ready to start expanding our services by posting regular updates and blogs about advising here at UMaine. Over the coming months you can expect to see vast amounts of information posted here, on our Youtube site, and on our Twitter feed.

On Mondays we’ll be posting our weekly calendar of events that are geared towards the academic and personal growth of our students here on campus.

On Tuesdays we’ll be posting a blog about various advising and academic topics. The function of these will be to help you understand how to navigate the intricacies of the university’s and college’s requirements.

Every other Wednesday we’ll be posting a video on Youtube that will explore the many facets of MaineStreet and how to make it work for you.

On Thursdays you can check our Twitter feed for our Thursday Twitter Tip of the Day.

And on Friday we’ll be posting a second blog post. Our goal is to get as much information out and available to students as possible.

We look forward to interacting with anyone and everyone. Though our comments will be turned off on the blogs themselves, feel free to discuss or comment about them on Twitter, Facebook, or Google+.

If you have any particular topic you’d like to have addressed, please let us know. Our goal is to give you the information you want and need.

So, do enjoy the last week of your summer vacation! We’ll see you soon!
