Thursday Tip of the Day

Even though today is the last day to drop a class, you may be wondering whether or not you should. If you decide to stick with it, try visiting the Tutor Center in Dunn hall for help!

The World Needs Humanities

In lieu of a blog post this week, we are bringing you a recently published article from UMaine professor of history Liam Riordan. In it, Liam discusses how UMaine is leading the fight to keep humanities in schools. Also, remember that the third annual Downtown Bangor Public Humanities Day kicks off this Friday at 6pm!

How to Find a Job You Love

With the Career Fair next week, many students are polishing up their resumes and getting ready to impress. Today’s infographic can help you figure out how to find a job you’ll love!

Thursday Tip of the Day

Next Thursday, February 12, is the last day to drop a class and not have it appear on your transcript. After this date, you may still withdraw, but it will result in a “W” on your transcript.

Summer 2015 Registration

Despite the snow and freezing weather, registration for Summer 2015 is now available! No PIN is required to register, and the full list of courses offered is now on MaineStreet. Also, remember that the CLAS Advising Center is always available to help students pick out and register for these courses!
